Recreational Sweep Rowing Team
Be a part of a Sweep Rowing team! This is a coached co-ed team, appropriate for graduates of Lincoln Park Boat Club Learn to Row classes, as well as anyone with comparable basic rowing experience. Experienced rowers are also welcome. Team members will advance their rowing skills, get a chance to race in a rowing regatta, and have alot of fun!
The second session for the LPBC Recreational Rowing Team runs from Wednesday August 18 until Head of the Rock Regatta (October 10).
First practice will be Wednesday August 18, 5:30 - 6:30pm at Lincoln Park Boat Club location. Practices will be Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and Saturdays 10:30am to 11:30am.. The cost of the second session will be $180.
This team will practice together every week through until October. Team races in the second session will include the Milwaukee River Challenge in Milwaukee, WI in September and the Rock Regatta in Rockford, IL on October 11th or similar regattas.
This team practices at the River Site on Magnolia and North Avenue.
